The Scholarly Record is expanding to include many kinds and forms of information beyond the formal outputs. Research methods, models, software, data, blogs, presentations, discussions, images, survey findings and much more are now part of the evolving scholarly record. Attendees at this workshop explored the boundaries of the scholarly record and the curation roles of various stakeholders.
This fourth and final event in our series of Evolving Scholarly Record Workshops built on the framework presented in the OCLC Research report, The Evolving Scholarly Record. It also summarized findings from past workshops, explored implications for stewardship of the scholarly record, and culminated in the production of a proposed action agenda for research libraries and other stakeholders.
